- Accumulator
- A single bet that links several selections together, with the payout growing as each selection wins.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that removes the draw option and gives a half‑goal or quarter‑goal advantage to one team.
- Back
- To bet on an outcome to happen, the opposite of a lay.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine multiple markets from the same match into a single custom wager.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle your bet before the event ends, letting you take a guaranteed profit or cut your loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match, offering higher odds for less likely results.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Edge
- An advantage you believe you have over the sportsbook’s odds, based on your knowledge or analysis.
- Futures
- A bet placed on an outcome that will be decided far in the future, such as which team will win the tournament.
- Half-Time Bet
- A wager placed on what will happen during the first half of a match, such as which team leads at half‑time.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet on a match while it is happening, with odds that change as the game progresses.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the process a betting site uses to verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- Lay
- To bet against an outcome occurring, essentially acting as the bookmaker by offering odds to other bettors.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds shown as a plus or minus number indicating the favorite and underdog.
- Over/Under
- A wager on whether the total goals, points, or runs in a match will be more or less than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- A single bet that combines two or more selections, paying out only if every selection wins.
- Point Spread
- A number set by the sportsbook to make both teams look equally likely to win, giving the underdog extra points and taking points from the favorite.
- Problem Gambling
- A pattern of betting behavior that causes harm to a person’s life, often leading to financial or emotional issues.
- Scorecast
- A bet that combines predicting the first goal scorer with the correct final score of the match.
- Self-Exclusion
- A tool that lets you voluntarily block yourself from accessing your betting account for a set period.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you a positive expected return.
- Vig
- The commission or fee a sportsbook includes in the odds, representing the price you pay for placing a bet.
